Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! Operating within the engineering industry, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing customer accounts within a hybrid work setting. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner • Ensure customer credit records are maintained accurately • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries effectively • Monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions when required • Manage the receipt, coding, and recording of invoices and finalize the processing of check runs • Familiarize with and utilize WM systems for invoice processing • Handle overhead costs such as rents and detail oriented services • Learn and apply GL and AP in daily operations • Process invoices received through the AP inbox and assign them to the appropriate company for further processing • Collaborate with the Purchasing/Buyer team for unassigned invoices and ensure they are recorded in BST once assigned • Utilize software tools such as BST, Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP for effective account management. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Payable • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, and Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrated experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Experience in Invoice Processing • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
