Accounts Payable Clerk

Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Classification: Non-Exempt, Temp to Hire (3-5 months)

Division: Corporate Finance

Reports to: AP Supervisor

Pay Range: $22/hr.-$25/hr.

Work Environment: Hybrid, San Diego

About the role:
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk supports the Corporate Finance department. Primarily responsible for the processing of accounts payable transactions for all companies which includes reviewing, reconciling, and paying invoices in a timely and organized manner. Additional responsibilities include creation of accounts payable ACH transactions, positive pay submission files, AP tracking, payment processing, as well as other assigned responsibilities. Top candidates will be superb at problem-solving and have high attention to detail.


Essential Functions:

Enter invoices according invoice breakdown and allocationsReview and file invoices receivedEnsure and maintain proper invoice approvals and allocationsIssue checks for accounts payable transactionsPrint and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checksCreate positive pay submission filesCreate ACH payments for accounts payable transactionsAnswer all vendor inquiriesAssist with the creation and maintenance of all accounts payable reports, checklists, and spreadsheetsScan, save, and send paymentsRespond to or research in-office mailSupport the Accounting/Finance department as needed

Job Requirements (education, experience, skills):

Associates Degree in Accounting or related area or equivalent experienceAccuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essentialExcellent data entry, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communicationExcellent organizational skills and time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a teamProficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft TeamsAbility and willingness to learn new software and systemIf you do not meet all the qualifications for this role, we still encourage you to apply, as we are always looking for diverse talent to join our growing team.
