Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing check requests and expense reports, accurately reviewing and coding vendor invoices, performing monthly reconciliations, and maintaining vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience with accounts payable and SAP software.

ResponsibilitiesProcess check requests and expense reports on a regular basis.Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.Perform monthly reconciliations and analyze vendor aging reports.Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.Perform data entry associated with accounts payable within a large ERP system.Audit and process credit card bills.Match receiving/purchasing documents with invoices and work with other departments to analyze and reconcile discrepancies.Address and respond to vendor inquiries.Assist with year-end audit testing samples.Track recurring monthly expenses to maintain timely recording.Perform other ad hoc finance/accounting functions as directed by the supervisor.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounts payable, invoice processing, and reconciliations.Experience with 3-way match and larger ERP systems.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of basic accounting principles.Strong time management and organizational skills.High degree of attention to detail.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.Best-in-class customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.2-3 years of experience with accounts payable.SAP software experience preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
