Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is based in the electronics industry and requires the incumbent to work on site. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle purchase order matching and invoice processing. • Navigate through invoice approvals and discuss pricing adjustments with project managers. • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure all vendor details are up-to-date. • Conduct detailed accounts payable research and perform inventory analysis. • Handle other responsibilities and projects in support of the controller as needed. • Utilize Excel and ERP tools to manage and monitor customer accounts. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar. • Proficient in Inventory Analysis, with the ability to accurately monitor and evaluate stock levels. • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation. • Experience in handling Purchase Orders, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. • Strong skills in spreadsheet software, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive financial information. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members. • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on improving processes and systems. • A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
