Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the construction industry, located in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This role will involve handling vendor invoices, maintaining account records, and working with our ERP system. Responsibilities: • Accurately coding vendor invoices in a timely manner. • Keeping up with account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Regularly communicating with vendors, addressing any queries or concerns. • Using the ERP system effectively for all accounts payable tasks. • Processing check runs as part of managing the accounts payable. • Ensuring all data entry related to accounts payable is accurate and updated. • Providing coverage during instances of medical leave. • Handling invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are accounted for and paid on time. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. • Monitoring and managing customer accounts, taking necessary actions when required. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP). • Capability to manage and execute Check Runs effectively. • Knowledge and experience in Coding Invoices is essential. • Should have strong Data Entry skills. • Experience in Invoice Processing is a necessity. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Previous experience with Oracle is desirable. • Must have knowledge and skills in using QuickBooks. • Familiarity with SAP is a significant plus.
