Accounts Payable Clerk
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in Rancho Santa Margarita, California for an Accounts Payable Clerk. You will be joining an organization that operates within an industry where your key role will be to handle account reconciliations, manage accounts payable, and ensure the smooth running of other financial operations. Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Ensuring meticulous maintenance of customer credit records • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Regular monitoring of customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary • Handling account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records • Managing the accounts payable process, including check runs and invoice coding • Overseeing the data entry process to maintain accuracy and efficiency • Utilizing software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial tasks • Ensuring correct invoice processing to maintain accurate financial records. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate. • Extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing payments to suppliers and vendors. • Familiarity with Check Runs, regularly processing payments to maintain the company's financial obligations. • Skilled in Coding Invoices, accurately categorizing expenses for financial records. • Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately. • Expertise in Invoice Processing, reviewing and verifying invoices for appropriate documentation before payment. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, using it for creating spreadsheets and financial reports. • Experience with Oracle, using it for managing databases and financial data. • Knowledge of QuickBooks, using it for managing and paying bills, and payroll functions. • Familiarity with SAP, using it for business operations and customer relations.
