Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in Los Angeles, California, for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The primary role will be to manage customer accounts, process applications, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process invoices related to customer credit applications • Ensure accurate coding, matching, and batching of invoices • Monitor the status of customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Maintain detailed and organized records of customer credit • Handle full cycle accounts payable duties • Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts promptly and professionally Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes is mandatory. • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable. • Proficient use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Possesses strong numerical skills for accurate data entry. • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. • Demonstrable ability to handle high volumes of invoices and disputes. • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines.
