Accounts Payable Clerk
Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our clients in the construction and contracting industry, located in New Albany, Ohio. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and managing customer queries. This is a part time (20-32 hours per week), contract to hire opportunity. Responsibilities: • Effectively manage accounts payable procedures and processes • Carry out account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records • Conduct check runs to manage payments and balances • Oversee the coding of invoices to ensure proper classification of expenses • Carry out data entry tasks to keep records of transactions up-to-date • Greet customers and respond to their phone inquiries in a detail oriented manner • Use Microsoft Excel to manage customer accounts and perform financial analysis • Handle and resolve issues related to invoice processing to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to accurately balance financial records and statements. • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all company bills are paid in a timely and efficient manner. • Familiarity with Check Runs, effectively managing payment cycles and maintaining financial security. • Proficient in Coding Invoices, accurately categorizing company expenses for seamless financial tracking. • Strong Data Entry skills, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and updated. • Experience in Invoice Processing, efficiently handling supplier invoices from receipt to payment. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, using it effectively for financial data management and reporting.
