Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry, located in Los Angeles, California, for the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be expected to efficiently manage all accounts payable as well as carrying out the financial and administrative duties within the organization. Responsibilities: • Efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments on a daily basis • Managing vendor correspondence through phone or email, while maintaining strong vendor relationships • Coordinating check runs, electronic transfers, and ACH payments • Regular reconciliation of accounts payable transactions • Keeping a vigilant eye on accounts to ensure timely payments • Providing necessary documentation for audit purposes • Ensuring the integrity of the accounts payable system through the maintenance of vendor files • Analyzing invoice and expense reports and recording entries • Efficiently resolving any billing discrepancies • Actively participating in month-end processes and yearly closing processes.
