Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with our client in the manufacturing industry. The position is based in WHITE PLAINS, New York, 10601. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process accounts payable transactions including 3-way match, data entry, and coding invoices • Accurately maintain and update financial records • Manage and address any discrepancies in payments • Prepare and process various types of payments such as wires, checks, and ACH payments • Compile and maintain various list reports on a weekly and monthly basis • Collaborate with staff and management to address payment and budget queries • Assist in miscellaneous accounting projects as required • Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, 3 Way Matching, Wire Transfer to perform tasks Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems • Ability to conduct check runs efficiently and accurately • Experience in coding invoices is mandatory • Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy • Proficient in invoice processing, including verification, approvals, and payment • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables • Experience with 3-way matching process in invoice processing • Knowledge of wire transfer procedures and protocols, including international transfers Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
