Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and providing support to the accounting team. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. + Review and verify invoices for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and compliance with company policies. + Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments. + Maintain relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances. + Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and files. + Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred). + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required. + Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to accounts payable.
