Description We are offering a temp to perm employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our office located in a major city in Tennessee. This position is crucial for our team's operations, covering a range of tasks from data entry to invoice payments. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring our payments are made accurately and on time. Responsibilities: • Process credit applications from customers efficiently • Keep accurate records of customer credit • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action • Manage invoice payments and check runs • Carry out data entry tasks to maintain precise financial records • Use Excel and QuickBooks for financial tasks and record keeping • Use Great Plains Solomon for various accounting functions • Supervise the coding of invoices to ensure precise record keeping • Help in sending out mail as required Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role • Proficient in account reconciliation tasks • Demonstrable experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience in conducting check runs • Skilled in coding invoices for payment • Proficient in data entry tasks related to accounting • Experience in invoice processing and management • Proficient in using Excel for financial tasks • Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks • Knowledge of Great Plains Solomon software for accounting tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
