Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to ensure the smooth operation of our accounts payable department by managing invoices, interacting with vendors, and conducting regular check runs. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounts payable email inbox and respond to any inquiries or issues. • Organize and move invoices to the appropriate shared folder for easy access and reference. • Enter invoices accurately into our system to ensure all accounts are up-to-date. • Establish a constructive relationship with vendors to facilitate smooth transactions. • Conduct weekly check runs to ensure all vendors are paid on time. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate. • Manage purchase orders and ensure they are correctly matched with invoices. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk • Proficient in Account Reconciliation techniques • Substantial knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures • Familiarity with Check Runs and their execution • Proven ability in Coding Invoices accurately and efficiently • Capable of performing high volume Data Entry tasks • Experience in Invoice Processing and related tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks • Proficiency in Oracle for managing financial databases • Experience with QuickBooks for accounting purposes • Familiarity with SAP for business process management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
