Priority Personnel is seeking an Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk for a company located in San Marcos, TX.

Pay rate: $18.00/hour 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/8:00am-5:00pm

Job Duties:

Data entry of invoices Reconciling vendor statements Checking accuracy of vendor invoices to internal records Tracking documents, filing, and scanning Processing checks for payment and processing electronic payments Assist other accounting staff with various tasks as needed Assist with answering telephones. Perform reconciliations from the timekeeping system to Payroll, ensuring data integrity. Identify, report, and correct any discrepancies. Process weekly payroll efficiently and accurately. Update personnel information in the payroll system as needed. Assist Human Resources with various tasks such as open enrollment, filing of employee files, handling monthly cafeteria plan insurance enrollments, and 401k enrollments. Uphold strict confidenality with payroll and other sensitive employee information.

Requirements:

Well organized and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word). Exceptional accuracy in data entry Previous experience with accounts payable is preferred.
