Accounting Clerk duties will vary by engagement, but can include: Matching invoices to purchase orders and vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Support Accounts Payable: Matching, coding, entering invoices, check runs, vendor maintenance Support Accounts Receivable: billing, apply cash receipts, help with collection of past due balances Resolve invoice discrepancies Assist with month end and supporting the Sr. Accountant or Accounting Manager + Requirements + Minimum 6 months to 1 year of internship or work experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll or billing + Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required + Accounting experience in software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Yardi preferred + Fast and accurate data entry plus MS Excel – Vlookups, Pivot Tables Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
