Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Construction industry located in North Houston. The hours are fully in office, Monday-Friday from 7:30-5:00pm. Apply today for immediate consideration! Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include: • Match invoices to purchase orders • Print and upload invoices into the system • Reconcile vendor accounts accurately • Set up new vendors in the system • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Prepare and select invoices for weekly check runs • Use Microsoft Excel and Adobe for various tasks Requirements • Proficient knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems • Minimum of 7 years of recent accounts payable experience • Demonstrated expertise in using Excel for exporting invoices • Familiarity with Adobe PDF to save invoices • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required • Knowledge of W9's, new vendor setup, and purchase orders Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
