Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the financial industry, located in El Paso, Texas, United States. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team, where you will be primarily handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving any customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Responsibilities: • Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. • Communication with vendors to clarify payment status and discrepancies. • Ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders, expense reports, and invoices through verification and matching. • Maintenance of precise customer credit records. • Coding of invoices and their entry into the accounting system. • Preparation and execution of payments, including but not limited to checks, ACH and wire transfers. • Support of internal audits and financial reporting as needed. • Timely reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of any discrepancies. • Maintenance of precise and organized financial records and documentation. • Assistance in month-end closing activities, including accrivals and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential. • Must have experience in the Accounts Payable (AP) function. • Experience in handling Check Runs is required. • Capability in Coding Invoices is a must. • Data Entry skills are necessary. • Must be adept at Invoice Processing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience with Oracle is preferred. • Familiarity with QuickBooks is desirable. • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
