Description Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Scottsdale AZ 85255 Compensation: $65K-$75K Robert Half is partnering with a growing firm in the North Scottsdale area seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team! This family run business has been servicing, distributing and installing high quality industrial rental equipment nationwide for over 100 years. Responsibilities: • Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers in accordance with company policies • Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring timely payments are made through various methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers, etc.). • Maintain accurate records of vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or issues. • Code invoices appropriately for accurate record keeping • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure that all payments are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved. • Process and enter Expense Reimbursements/Expense Reports • Ensure accurate invoice processing and corresponding approvals • Maintain organized files of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for easy retrieval and compliance purposes. • Work closely with other departments (e.g., procurement, finance) to resolve issues, answer questions, and support the overall financial operations • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and support any additional accounting tasks as needed (1099 compliance, etc) Requirements Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Strong data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
