Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a great team in Hanover, PA. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for entering and coding AP invoices ensuring timely an accurate financial transaction, applying AR invoices, while serving as backup to perform customer invoicing, handling corporate correspondence and making sure they are disseminated properly to appropriate members of corporate team. Essential Job Functions: + Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing. + Process accounts receivable transactions, including payment verification, coding, and payment application. + Conduct AR collection calls to follow up on overdue payments in a professional manner. + Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. + Backup invoicing clerk as needed for customer invoicing. + Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. + Assist with month-end closing tasks and provide support for audits. + Maintain relationships with vendors and customers to address inquiries and resolve billing/payment issues + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. + Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed. Requirements Job Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred). + 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, with experience in accounts receivable a plus. + Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office and particularly Excel. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. + Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
