Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Oil & Gas - Exploration & Production industry based in Midland, Texas, 79707, United States. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing and maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Responsibilities: • Accurately process invoices and ensure proper coding. • Assist vendors with invoice inquiries and disputes. • Keep track of all assets currently on rent to the company by producing weekly rental reports. • Maintain the annual Vendor Rate Sheet in tandem with vendors to ensure timely submission and review of accurate rates. • Verify vendor rates regularly to avoid discrepancies. • Maintain a daily record of coded invoices. • Create and manage a Rental Light Tower Tracker. • Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Coding to ensure smooth operation of the accounts payable department.
