Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Non-Profit industry, based in Matteson, Illinois. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will handle a variety of tasks including processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and providing customer service. You will also be expected to use your skills in Microsoft Excel and data entry to ensure efficient operations within the office. Responsibilities: • Handle invoice processing and check runs with accuracy • Use your accounts payable and receivable skills to maintain financial records • Provide exceptional customer service when resolving customer inquiries • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks • Apply your basic office skills in performing general office duties • Leverage your knowledge in early childhood education as needed in the department • Be responsible for coding invoices accurately • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency • Maintain accurate records of customer credit. The salary range for this position is $18 to $20/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
