Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the industry, located in Woodbury, New York, United States. The role will involve managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining meticulous records. Responsibilities: • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate record keeping • Execute check runs and code invoices effectively • Handle data entry tasks and ensure all customer data is up-to-date • Process invoices and ensure they are correctly entered and paid • Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports for tracking and analysis • Utilize QuickBooks for accounting purposes and to streamline financial tasks. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Payable Clerk. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. • Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable (AP), including tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues. • Experience with check runs, including preparing, reviewing, and issuing company checks. • Familiarity with coding invoices by identifying and entering all relevant details accurately. • Strong data entry skills with the ability to process large volumes of information without compromising on accuracy. • Experience in invoice processing, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management, financial calculations, and reporting. • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software for managing and processing financial data.
