Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk for our operations. The primary role of the Accounts Payable Clerk will be to handle customer applications, keep precise customer records, and address customer inquiries. The selected candidate will also be tasked with overseeing customer accounts and taking the necessary actions. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle the processing of invoices with accuracy and efficiency • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of check requests • Manage the reconciliation of accounts as part of the accounts payable function • Maintain precise records of customer credit details • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner • Utilize Sage Intacct for various accounting and financial tasks • Conduct check runs as part of the accounts payable function • Ensure accurate coding of invoices for proper record keeping • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and account reconciliation • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to balance and reconcile accounts in an efficient and accurate manner. • Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and correct payments. • Experience in performing Check Runs, ensuring all checks are accounted for and properly recorded. • Familiarity with Coding Invoices, accurately assigning them to the appropriate accounts. • Proficient in Data Entry, with the ability to input and manage financial data with accuracy and speed. • Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner. • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. • Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software, with the ability to use it for various accounting tasks.
