Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Rental/Leasing Services industry, located in North Chesterfield, Virginia, 23234, United States. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of the accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in customer credit applications and maintaining confidential information. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications • Ensure the accuracy of the financial data by verifying and posting account transactions • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems • Provide customer service to employees and vendors, responding to their inquiries and maintaining good relations • Manage and ensure the accuracy of all disbursements • Maintain and update vendor files as necessary • Analyze and reconcile vendor statements, addressing any discrepancies • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Maintain the confidentiality of the organization's financial information • Ensure accurate coding, authorization, and data input of supplier invoices, credit notes, and employee expense claims. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with a strong ability to ensure all financial records are balanced and discrepancies are promptly addressed. • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP), effectively managing and processing all supplier invoices. • Familiarity with Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers. • Skilled in Coding Invoices, accurately assigning costs to the correct account codes and departments. • Excellent Data Entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Expertise in Invoice Processing, reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of using advanced functions for financial tracking and reporting. • Experience with Sage 300, particularly within the context of managing and processing accounts payable.
