Accounts Payable Clerk
Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain customer credit records with high accuracy. • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions. • Utilize 'Yardi' for managing and tracking customer information. • Ensure all customer records are up-to-date and accurate. • Identify and address discrepancies in customer accounts. • Collaborate with the team to improve customer service procedures. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. • Assist in other administrative tasks as needed. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proficient in the use of Yardi, specifically in the context of real estate and property management. • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the real estate industry. • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
