Description Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role is fully onsite in Minnetonka, MN, where you will receive training and grow your skills in the field of accounting. Requirements Key Responsibilities: + Process vendor invoices and ensure they are accurate and comply with company policies. + Assist in managing accounts payable transactions, including data entry, review, and approval. + Help with the preparation and processing of payment runs for vendors. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment inquiries or issues. + Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions. Requirements: + No prior experience required, but an interest in accounting or finance is preferred. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately. + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to work with spreadsheets). + Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. + A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
