Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various tasks in the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate processing and recording of company's invoices • Reconciliation of the payment register to ensure accurate accounts payable balance • Maintain and update customer credit records • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to their accounts • Handle data entry tasks and maintain the accuracy of financial data • Participate in the transition of projects, ensuring smooth operations during the process • Work onsite and adhere to flexible working hours as per the requirement • Maintain confidentiality and pass necessary background checks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner • Solid experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including timely payments and record keeping • Experience in Billing, with the ability to prepare, issue, and send out bills, invoices, and account statements • Proficiency in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and speed • Expertise in Invoice Processing, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting • Experience with Oracle for managing business processes • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting purposes, including invoicing, billing, and tracking expenses Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
