Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, United States. The selected candidate will join a team in the industry, where they will be assigned to handle customer applications, maintain customer records, and respond to customer inquiries. They will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate • Utilize account coding to maintain organization and clarity within the accounting system • Operate accounting software systems to streamline procedures and improve efficiency • Conduct regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance • Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Use xlookup functions to search for specific data within the system • Implement Foundation Software for better data management • Utilize Pivot Table for data summarization • Manage purchase orders to ensure proper financial tracking • Process approved invoices for payment promptly and accurately. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar • Proficient in Account Coding procedures • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Software Systems • Demonstrated experience in general Accounting Functions • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes • Proven ability in Auditing tasks • Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Skillful in using xlookup functions in Excel • Knowledge of Foundation Software is a plus • Proficient in creating and managing Pivot Tables • Experience with Purchase Order processing • Ability to manage and process Approved Invoices efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
