Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Windsor, Connecticut, and we're searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The role involves handling tasks related to accounts payable and data entry. The work environment is dynamic and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurate processing of accounts payable • Efficient data entry and management • Handling vouchering tasks with precision • Managing invoicing operations • Utilization of Macola ERP for accounts payable processing • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer credit records • Resolving customer inquiries promptly and efficiently • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in the manufacturing industry. • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability in managing data entry tasks. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning. • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees. • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
