Description We are on the search for an Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The primary functions of this role lie within the construction and contractor industry, where you will be expected to ensure smooth operation of all accounts payable activities and maintain effective communication with our vendors. Responsibilities: • Oversee the approval of invoices, ensuring accurate price confirmation and data entry with GL coding • Efficiently process payments, maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy • Manage the tracking of Lein waivers • Take responsibility for the reconciliation of multiple bank accounts • Engage in price comparisons across vendors to ensure best value • Set up new vendors and maintain consistent vendor communications • Monitor AP sale tax, ensuring it is up to date and accurate • Handle year-end 1099 processing • Oversee W9 and Insurance monitoring • Organize electronic files to ensure easy access and retrieval • Balance out with GL accounts • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Proven experience in the Construction/Contractor industry • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Demonstrated knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to manage Check Runs efficiently • Experience in Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Proficiency in Invoice Processing • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Experience with Oracle software • Proficiency in using QuickBooks • Familiarity with SAP software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
