Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be involved in various accounting tasks in our team, including account reconciliation, managing accounts payable, running checks, coding invoices, and data entry. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices • Conduct account reconciliation tasks as necessary • Manage the accounts payable function effectively • Handle check runs and ensure they are completed accurately • Undertake coding of invoices as per the established procedures • Perform data entry tasks related to the accounts payable function • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records • Process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for managing and balancing financial accounts • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary for overseeing all outgoing payments • Ability to conduct Check Runs to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices • Experience in Coding Invoices to appropriately categorize and track expenses • Strong Data Entry skills are required for efficient and accurate input of financial information • Capability in Invoice Processing to manage and fulfill payment obligations • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis • Familiarity with Oracle software for financial management tasks • Experience with QuickBooks for managing and tracking company expenses • Knowledge of SAP for streamlined financial operations and reporting.
