Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is based in the wholesale distribution industry and will require on-site presence with no remote opportunities available. Responsibilities: • Manage high-volume accounts payable processing in a timely and efficient manner • Process invoice exceptions and resolve discrepancies • Use SAP for various accounting tasks • Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained • Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions as necessary • Process customer credit applications with precision • Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry • Demonstrable proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in using financial software and Office Suite • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Basic understanding of accounting principles • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Willingness to continuously improve and update skills and knowledge.
