Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendors, processing expense invoices, handling inventory invoices, printing checks, and reviewing freight/directs in the industry. Responsibilities: • Setting up and maintaining vendor profiles, including handling inquiries and resolving payment issues. • Inputting and coding invoices to the correct account/period, ensuring timely payments and verifying authorization and accuracy. • Matching inventory invoices to packing slips/receiving documents, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments. • Processing payments after approval, reviewing invoices for completeness, maintaining the check register, and mailing checks. • Confirming freight costs and cost direct invoices for billing daily. • Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and managing accounts payable (AP). • Experienced in performing check runs. • Ability to handle coding invoices efficiently. • Strong data entry skills with high levels of accuracy. • Demonstrated expertise in invoice processing. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial reporting.
