Description We are searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is integral to our operations within the industry, where you will be tasked with managing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication with vendors. Responsibilities include: • Accurately processing vendor invoices, with a keen eye for any discount terms included. • Establishing new vendors in the accounting system, which involves collecting W-9 forms. • Thoroughly reviewing purchase orders, statements, and invoices to confirm the amounts owed. • Efficiently responding to vendor inquiries, and resolving discrepancies in billings and payments. • Ensuring the appropriate approval for invoices and expense reports. • Processing payment methods including ACH, wire transfers, and physical checks. • Maintaining both unpaid and paid invoice files in an organized manner. • Utilizing skills in account reconciliation, data entry, and various software such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP). • Demonstrated experience with check runs and coding invoices. • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to process invoices efficiently and accurately. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data. • Experience with Oracle for managing business processes. • Proficiency with QuickBooks for financial management. • Knowledge of SAP for business operations and customer relations.
