Job Description
OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the input and maintenance of all related A/P paperwork. Maintenance of supplier records.
Responsibilities
Maintain vendor files & enter vendor information into SAP.Filing.Sorting of mail for Accounts Payable.Process vendor invoices and credit notes as per company policy into SAP.Process payments as per company policy. Issue manual cheques as required. Verify payment amounts. Pull corresponding invoices and submit cheques for signing.Prepare list of unvouched AP invoices for Accounting to review for month-end expense accrual.Continually, liaise with purchasing department, keeping up-to-date on vendor status, special circumstances, problem accounts etc.Other duties as assigned.Requirements
Minimum 3 years progressive responsibility in the above functions.Strong numerical aptitude.Previous exposure to computerized accounting programs on a multi-user system – SAP ProgramWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Intermediate experience in ExcelProblem SolverProven customer relations skills.Please note that due to the requirements from the Department of Energy, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
