Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Port Arthur, Texas. In the industry, you will be a critical part of our team, handling essential tasks such as invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Efficiently processing invoices and ensuring accurate data entry • Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and keeping track of bank transactions and deposits • Assisting with account reconciliation and performing check runs as needed • Applying coding to invoices for proper categorization • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks • Managing and maintaining precise customer credit records • Resolving customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts for necessary action • Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Collections when required Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures • Experience with Check Runs to facilitate timely vendor payments • Ability to perform Coding Invoices for proper expense classification • Proficiency in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency • Prior experience in Invoice Processing to ensure timely and accurate payments • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data • Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting tasks and financial management • Experience with SAP for business process management and data handling Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
