Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Tacoma, Washington. The position is within the manufacturing industry and will require you to work onsite. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and providing excellent customer service to both vendors and office personnel. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records. • Handle full cycle accounts payable processing, such as coding and data entry of invoices. • Regularly reconcile monthly statements and ensure general vendor maintenance. • Provide superior customer service to vendors and office personnel, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns. • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with vendor account payables in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with monthly accounting calendar requirements. • Utilize Excel and Employee Benefits Solutions (EBS) software for various tasks. • Complete ad-hoc duties as assigned to achieve departmental goals.
