Job Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Printing, match to purchase order and enter vendor invoices into SAP. Process Vendor cheques, ACH, EFT & Wire PaymentsPrepare month end accounts payable accrualsProduce, match and mail cheques, including the preparation of manual cheques when required.Open, sort and distribute incoming mail on a daily basisEnter vendor & customer change request into MDG for approval.Perform and confirming penny test for vendors set up on electronic payments.Review monthly vendor statement to ensure all invoices have been received and entered into SAPManage shared Accounts Payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries.Prepare vendor payments, matching vendor invoices to payment remittance and mailing out. Preparing month end account reconciliations related to payable accountsFile vendor payments and boxing prior years financial recordsMatch & code and enter purchases on corporate cardFollows Magna’s Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policiesPerform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum completion of post-secondary business/accounting educationMinimum of three years accounting experience or equivalent; previous Accounts Payable experience required Excellent communication (oral and written) and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detailStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSAP experience preferredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & OutlookAbility to manage and prioritize timeStrong attention to detailDemonstrates diplomacy and tactfulnessMaintains confidentiality and integrityAbility to work under pressureAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
