Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for our team based in Salem, Oregon. The role involves managing the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and check runs. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process hundreds of accounts payable invoices on a weekly basis. • Conduct weekly check runs to ensure timely payments. • Use QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Financial Edge for data entry and to maintain accurate records. • Code invoices to the correct account for accurate financial reporting. • Assist with the automation of the Accounts Payable process, if capable, to improve efficiency. • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure correct financial records. • Resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounts payable. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action as required.
