Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing the Company’s financial obligations by processing invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with payment processing. The role ensures accuracy and timeliness in payments while maintaining a positive relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Your Impact and Job Responsibilities

Reviews invoices for input and account coding accuracy while reconciling for any discrepancies. Responsible for reviewing documentation for new vendors for accuracy and are set up properly. Monitors vendor status in RealPage and resolve open issues, while responding to vendor inquiries. Generates and reviews accounts payable aging reports, reviews outstanding payments for follow up, and interacts with on-site property personnel and corporate office personnel for day-to-day matters and issue resolution. Prepares supporting documentation for audits. Completes special projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills and Experience

Associate degree in accounting or business-related area preferred. Ideally a minimum of three (3) years of automated accounts payable experience.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Yardi accounting software experience a plus. Interpersonal Communication - connect with people in an outgoing, friendly manner; responsive and timely in responding to other inquiries and works toward resolving issues. Organizational Support – Recognize and adjust to change; maintain control of overall agenda but includes others in a task-focused manner; create a disciplined process. Ethical – Careful and conservative, detail-oriented; by the book; complete work in accordance with company standards and federal/state regulations; make decisions carefully and cautiously within the guidelines of established company policy. Efficiency – Possess a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; complete detail work with accuracy and in accordance with company standards and policies; motivated by a strong sense of duty and responsibility for completing work quickly and correctly.
