Accounts Payable Coordinator
Summary: As our Accounts Payable Coordinator you will work closely with both the Accounting Manager and the Director of Finance to assist with day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department.  Primary Responsibilities:  + Enter vendor invoices & prepare weekly check runs + 3-way Match of vendor invoices + Certain general ledger account reconciliations + Manage Expense report process and corporate credit cards + Selected general ledger account reconciliations + Assist in compilation of quarterly physical inventories + Cross functional back up for the department as needed + Answer and route incoming phone calls + Other duties as assigned Competencies: + Excellent communication skills, effective collaborating at all levels of the organization and interacting with vendors + Strategic, innovative and entrepreneurial with systematic thinking skills. + Proactive, results-oriented approach to the business, able to make expedient and insightful decisions and to hit deadlines + Assertive and articulate, with excellent business acumen and judgement; ability to manage conflict productively. + Excellent organizational skills and effective workflow management Required Qualifications: + Associates Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university is a plus + Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable + Must be extremely organized and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail + Experience with Quickbooks a plus + Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism + Ability to meet tight deadlines and heavy workload + Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Physical Requirements: + Communicate with others and exchange accurate information. + Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment. + Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
