Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for cutting and mailing out all checks from various entities. As well as work closely with accountants and Treasury to ensure the AP processing is running efficiently.

DUTIES and SPECIFICATIONS shall include but are not limited to:

High Volume processing of invoices from various accounting systems for multiple properties.Reviewing vendors and work with Operations to have them updated accordingly. Processing Voids, Re-issues and Reversals.Mailing out checks via Regular Mail and/or Courier.Entering manual payments to reconcile items on aging reports.Processing rush requests on a daily basis.Manually entering invoices for closed properties and ZRS Corporate when necessary.Assisting with reviewing, processing and filing 1099/1096 tax documents at year end.Additional accounts payable related duties as needed.

SKILLS, KNOWELDGE and ABILITIES:

Posses excellent computer skills and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.Preferred knowledge of Yardi/Real Page/TOPS softwares.Able to read and write in English language in a professional manner.High level of professionalism, poise and ability to evolve with changes.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate effective communication skills both verbally and written.Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.Must possess attention to detail, ability to stay organized and self motivated.Knowledge of business practices, principles, processes and understand corporate office etiquette.Detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality for both ZRS and it's clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ Years of Accounts Payable ExperienceAssociates Degree in Accounting/Business or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

AP Coordinator works in an office environment. This person should be able to sit for an extended period of time. This person should be able to push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, talk, hear, climb, and lift objects up to 15 pounds with ease. This person should be able to operate office equipment such as computer/phone/fax/scanner/etc. This position will work normal business hours in the corporate office with occasional evenings or weekends during busy January.
