Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to accurately review and process vendor invoices daily, including importing, coding, routing, and posting material and subcontractor invoices in a paperless environment. The role involves creating batches of invoices for payment, processing checks, and managing subcontractor waivers and their supplier waivers. You will also establish, code, and process subcontracts and change orders, understand expense accounts and job costing, and reconcile key subcontractor statements monthly. Responsibilities + Accurately review and process vendor invoices daily, including importing, coding, routing, and posting material and subcontractor invoices. + Create batches of invoices for payment and process checks. + Request, review, and process subcontractor waivers and their supplier waivers in relation to Notices of Furnishing. + Timely follow-up with approvers to gain appropriate approvals and ensure minimal unapproved/in-process payables. + Establish, code, and process subcontracts and change orders. + Understand expense accounts and job costing. + Understand compliance issues around the accounts payable process. + Reconcile key subcontractor statements to the A/P detail each month and resolve any discrepancies. + Provide subcontractors with professional, timely, and accurate follow-up to their questions on invoicing issues. + Record general ledger journal entries as needed. + Assist with payroll, direct deposit, or other administrative tasks as needed. Essential Skills + 3-5+ years of accounts payable experience. + Experience processing high volume invoices. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel. + Trainable and willing to learn new tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Construction experience is helpful but not required. + Experience with AIA and subcontractor processes is a plus. + Experience with payroll, journal entries, and general ledger is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.65 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
