Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will have a critical role in managing and coordinating various financial activities, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process invoices using the Advid exchange web-based platform. • Ensure correct coding to the appropriate department and properties with various GL's. • Manage and maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activities. • Differentiate between operating expenses and property-specific payables in invoice processing. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors. • Actively participate in the resolution of customer inquiries and issues. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required. • Assist in transitioning to accounting roles with the necessary skills and knowledge over time. Interested candidates please contact Tamara Young 757-981-0974 Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Strong experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures. • Demonstrated ability to perform Check Runs effectively. • Experience in Coding Invoices is necessary. • Skilled in Data Entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Proficiency in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and pivot tables.
