Accounts Payable Manager

Each year we serve nearly 16,000 individuals, supporting their goals for education, employment, and independence.   The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee a team that processes the company’s accounts payable in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.   This role is hybrid, at least 3 days onsite required weekly. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of accounts payable team including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit card transactions, and expense reports. Maintain vendor maintenance records. Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Handle inquiries and resolve discrepancies from vendors and internal management. Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline the accounts payable workflow. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance requirements such as 1099s filing.
