Accounts Payable Manager
Description Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This person will play a crucial role in supporting Project and Investment Managers, coordinating various aspects of acquisitions and development projects. If you enjoy diving into real estate operations, managing contracts, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a perfect fit for you! Key Responsibilities: + Provide centralized support to Project and Investment Managers, ensuring all aspects of acquisitions and development projects run smoothly. + Assist with monthly and quarterly close procedures, making sure deadlines are met. + Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain real estate services documentation. + Conduct property research (e.g., title policies, tax records) and handle data review. + Manage contract administration, set up standardized files, and coordinate funding requests. + Maintain lot detail information and support lot and sale closings. + Participate in property tax management and handle HOA documents and operations. + Ensure accurate invoice coding and assist with budget updates. + Uphold professional, ethical business practices to support the company’s mission. Requirements Experience & Skills Required: + 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable. + Excel Guru (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, calculation) + Basic accounting skills and familiarity with month-end/quarter-end procedures. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently. + Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow instructions and stay organized. + Flexibility to work overtime when needed and maintain reliable attendance.
