Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager will work on-site at our corporate office in San Ramon, CA and oversee a team of three AP Specialists. They will provide accounts payable management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, assisting in the monthly close, reconciling accounts, and overseeing the entire Accounts Payable process.
ResponsibilitiesCompile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, and completing corresponding reconciliations.Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes related to Accounts Payable.Prepare tax payment schedules and work on annual audits.Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in accounts payable transactions.Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.Analyze monthly vendor trends to ensure all transactions are captured for month-end close.Mentor and train staff to ensure professional growth and adherence to internal policies.Administer and monitor the Concur system.Assist with the implementation of new software systems, as needed.Handle special projects as needed.Essential SkillsProficient in accounts payable processes.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with Intacct ERP.Strong skills in invoice processing, invoicing, accounting, reconciliation, and general ledger.Experience in month-end closing processes.Supervisory skills with experience in mentoring and training staff.Familiarity with Concur and other accounting and finance software.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.5-7 years of management experience, preferably in the Mortgage Banking industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with FloQast, Sage Intacct, Concur, and Yardi preferred.Experience with BYTE Software (Loan Origination System) is a plus.Work Environment
This position requires working on-site five days per week at our corporate headquarters in San Ramon, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $60.10
