Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Accounting Operations, the Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing all accounts payable processes. You will join a large accounting team of 22 members within a company of 500 employees, where you will contribute to optimizing department processes and gaining operational efficiencies.

ResponsibilitiesManage staff responsible for performing accounts payable functions.Follow company procedures for compliance and internal controls.Code and process invoices, ensuring accurate accounting period, company, branch or division allocation, and proper G/L account codes.Handle prepaid expenses and classification of nonemployee compensation.Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expenses, maintaining accurate records and control reports.Identify, communicate, and resolve all account aging issues in a timely manner.Evaluate and implement technology and process improvements to optimize department processes.Provide detailed account variance analysis.Ensure proper vendor identification information has been obtained for the preparation of annual 1099s.Perform daily approval of ACH and wire activity.Assist with accounting department audit requests.Essential SkillsAdaptable personality with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow.Experience working across multiple ERP systems (NetSuite, FAX, VICAI).Supervisory experience.Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities.Natural leadership skills with a hands-on approach.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school degree required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.2-4 years’ experience with processing invoices using an accounts payable module.2-3 years’ experience with general ledger, month-end close functions, and reconciliations.Management or supervisory experience required.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88
