Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist in Pittsburg, California. The selected candidate will be part of a team dedicated to managing the company's accounts payable and payroll processes. This role involves handling account reconciliations, processing checks, coding invoices, and data entry. Responsibilities: + Process A/P invoices and checks accurately, ensuring approvals, correct calculations, and matching checks. + Monitor discount opportunities, verify federal IDs, and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, or payments. + Address vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues. + Process employee expense reports, ensuring proper approvals and receipts. + Reconcile vendor statements, investigating and correcting discrepancies. + Properly code invoices/expense reports with accurate GL entries. + Set up and maintain accurate vendor information, including W-9s. + Produce annual 1099 tax filings. + Assist with month-end/year-end close for accruals and reconciliation. + Assist with payroll data entry and other payroll-related tasks. + Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Requirements: + 5+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience. + Diligent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. + Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills. + Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Good team player. + Ability to work with minimal supervision. Preferred Requirements: + Experience with SAP full-cycle AP module. + ADP Workforce experience is a plus.
