Accounts Payable Processor
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Processor to join our team based in Orlando. As a part of our accounting division, the selected candidate will be tasked with various administrative responsibilities, including handling utility accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: • Download and manage utility invoices from company websites. • Accurately log invoice details into an Excel file. • Ensure the status of lots, whether open or closed, is updated in the Excel file. • Save and organize invoices in designated folders for easy access and future reference. • Utilize PDF tools to edit, add text, split, or combine files as needed. • Communicate effectively by emailing downloaded invoices to the provided email address. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications. • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to our company's data privacy policies. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, modify, and analyze spreadsheets. • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP), with a strong understanding of its principles and practices. • Proven ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently. • Familiarity with website navigation and use, particularly in relation to accounts payable tasks. • Willingness and ability to work onsite, adhering to company policies and regulations. • Previous experience as a Processor, preferably in an accounts payable or financial setting. • Ability to work with PDF documents, including editing, formatting, and annotating. • Knowledge of utilities, particularly relating to their billing and payment processes. • Understanding of NAND gate operations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in relevant tasks. • Comprehensive knowledge of general accounting functions, with the ability to apply this knowledge to the role of Accounts Payable Processor.
